Established in 1999 the Salon Managers Academy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Full Column Limited which was incorporated in 2008. Full Column Limited was created to support independent Salon Owners and Salon Managers in their quest to develop profitable salon businesses with the support of happy staff.

Mick Say "The Salon CEO" developed the systems and practices over 30 years of working with some of the smartest salon owners & managers in the industry.

As a sales manager and later the director of sales and marketing for some of industries biggest brands I've possibly spent more hours sitting in salons listening to consultations and client conversations than most people on the planet and I used to take notes which I used to build my knowledge and experience.

If I didn't know the answer to a question or problem, I'd ask other salon owners until I had the best three solutions which I offered back to the salon owner. Over the years I began offering retail training to my salon clients in return for product sales and I eventually created the business "Full Column" Ltd as my services became increasingly popular.

I work with independent salons because this is the group of businesses (by virtue of being independent) need the most support because these salon owners and managers work behind a chair all day and whilst they have great experience and knowledge they only have 24 hours in a day and one pair of hands.

I offer my services to independent salon owners and managers as I act as their personal "Salon CEO".
